CELEBRATION OF JEFF
The event honors Jeff Bohl, a much beloved and dearly missed member of our flying community. Jeff’s massive passion for XC flying, his thirst for learning, his infectious positivity, his willingness to share and help anyone anytime and overall awesome attitude make him our role model for this event.
GO FUN!
September and October tend to offer lighter winds and the opportunity to complete closed tasks back to the airport – GoShort 
This offers more chance to actually fly together and means we can plan social events each evening.
COME JOIN US THIS YEAR
Our non-flying activities have included live music, on-site cook outs, stargazing, karaoke, dancing competitions, fire-dancing, camp-fire storytelling and even guided ghost tours. We will have a similar programme this year and maybe something new too.
Events will commence on the morning of Friday 8th October.
OCTOBER FLYING IS COOL
Weather is cooler in October than earlier in the season but still with significant night-day temperature difference and hence good soaring potential. Cooler overnight temps also make camping at the airport more popular.
DAILY BRIEFINGS
Skill development comes from open forum sessions held in the mornings each day, discussing XC skills, experiences, personal XC development goals.

Event fee of $50 is being requested to cover extra expenses to Cowboy Up in hosting the event. Otherwise, normal tow fees will apply
